Q.6. How many persons are there in the Godhead?

A. There are three persons in the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory.[q]

[q] 1 John 5:7. Matt. 28:19.

We are here taught,

1. That there are Three Persons in the Godhead.

2. That the Father is God.

3. That the Son is God.

4. That the Holy Ghost is God.

5. That these Three Persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, are but one God.

6. That the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, though distinct persons, are the same in nature or substance.

7. That they are equal in power and glory.
